#ThrowbackThursday: 10 Of The Most Memorable Performances From NBC’s “The Voice”

Since making its U.S. premiere back in April 2011, the NBC show, The Voice, has captivated audiences by uncovering some of the greatest singing voices in the country. The show—which calls for celebrity judges like Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green, and Blake Shelton to select singers for their “teams” based on, you guessed it, their voices—is now in its fifth season. And at the end of every season, The Voice crowns one winner, who gets a $100,000 prize and, more importantly, a record deal with Republic Records. Several The Voice winners like Cassadee Pope and even several The Voice contestants who did not win their seasons like Chris Mann currently have or have had recording contracts with Republic.

So with the fifth season of The Voice now officially underway—and the buzz surrounding the show louder than it has ever been—we thought we would take a look back at some of the most memorable performance from NBC’s The Voice over the course of the first four seasons. Whether you know and love the show or are just starting to get into it, these performances should give you a better idea of what it’s all about. We can’t wait to see who the next winner of The Voice is. But until then, these past performances will help hold us over.
