Cash Money Records co-CEO and founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams is proud to welcome Duval, Florida based singer and hip-hop recording artist T.RONE to the Cash Money Records and YMCMB family. The latest signing to one of the entertainment industry’s most successful entrepreneurial empires, T.RONE officially joins the Cash Money YMCMB team through a joint venture with the Brooklyn Knights label.

T.RONE, who has worked with Grammy Award nominated rapper 2Chainz, first garnered buzz with the release of his single, “Hello Love (F.U.).” Featuring a subtle yet catchy beat and T.Rone’s melodic voice & witty lyrics, the song quickly became an anti-Valentine’s Day and breakup anthem. A fan favorite right out of the gate, “Hello Love (F.U.)” has garnered over thirty remixes, from house to trap, on SoundCloud and has secured strong radio support in major markets including Miami, Baltimore, Chicago, Richmond, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and Philadelphia. Off the strength of the single, T.Rone took home three awards from Bigga Rankin’s 2013 Diamond Awards including Independent Record Label of the Year for Kream Tream Muzik, Male Artist of the Year and Single of the Year.

Sent by T.Rone’s production company, Kreme Team, and his label Brooklyn Knights to Cash Money Records, the music ultimately caught the ears of the CEOs who were impressed by T.Rone’s talent, delivery and the organic growth of the single.

“From the moment I met T.Rone and heard him in the studio, I knew that he was a perfect fit for the YMCMB family.” says Bryan ‘Birdman’ Williams, who co-founded Cash Money Records alongside his brother, Ronald ‘Slim’ Williams. “When Slim and I heard “Hello Love (F.U.)” on Miami’s 99Jamz, we knew we had made the right decision. Talent like that doesn’t come along too often.”

T.Rone is hard at work on his first offering for Brooklyn Knights/Cash Money Records, writing daily and preparing to record with the YMCMB family at The Hit Factory in Miami. Fans can expect an album in 2013 with more details to be announced soon. Additionally, T.Rone just shot the video for “Hello Love,” and is impacting at radio now with over 700 spins at Rhythm & Urban formats with a combined listening audience of 3.4 million.

Says T-Rone, “I have been a huge fan of Cash Money Records my whole life. Where I come from, Cash Money Records is considered the “real” label; they came from the streets, just like myself and many of my peers. To be signed to Cash Money Records and have the chance to work with the YMCMB family is a dream come true and a badge of honor for the Kream Team family and me. What else can I say?”
