GRAMMY Artist Spotlight: After The Big Night… Republic’s GRAMMY Winners!February 3, 2014
What a show.
Last night, the top talent in music convened for the epitome of prestigious music award shows… The 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards. With so much talent under one roof, the competition was, as Lorde would say, mental, but a few of our artists came out on top with big, wonderful wins!
The Godfathers of doom metal and veteran pioneer rockers, Black Sabbath, and our breakthrough newcomer who marches and sings to the beat of her own bad-ass drum, the stunning performer, Lorde took home a few coveted GRAMMYs, collectively. Also, multi-talented singer, songwriter, producer, rapper extaordinaire, Mayer Hawthorne, won by way of collab partner Pharrell Williams taking home a gramophone for Non-Classical Producer of the Year for Mayer’s songs “The Stars Are Ours” and “Reach Out Richard”.
We wish a huge congratulations to all nominees and extra hi-fives and hugs to Black Sabbath, Lorde and Mayer Hawthorne on their big wins!
