Southern California dream pop duo, PACIFIC AIR, have just wrapped a tour with Walk The Moon and will venture out with Ra Ra Riot next week. The jaunts have the group traversing the country in support of its recently released four-song debut EP for Republic Records, Long Live Koko.

In addition, Pacific Air will appear at The Governor’s Ball June 7-9 on Randall’s Island, NY alongside superstars and powerhouse acts such as Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Pretty Lights, Grizzly Bear, The XX,The Avett Brothers, and many more.

On the first single “Float”, the brotherly collective of Ryan and Taylor Lawhon stir transcendent new age influences into sun-soaked ethereal pop. An amalgam of whistling, pure melodies, and fluttering hooks careens with an irresistible push-and-pull.

Already, PACIFIC AIR has proven to be undeniably buzz-worthy, attracting acclaim from countless tastemakers.

Pitchfork exclaimed, “Ryan and Taylor Lawhon’s jangle of tambourines, whistles, and breathy harmonies rises to cruising altitude above the fray”, MTV Hive praised their “potential for crossover”, Interview fittingly dubbed “Float” “hypnotizing surf-pop”, while ARTISTdirect.com described it as “a cinematic little tale that’ll make your heart flutter and light up a big smile”.

“Float” away with PACIFIC AIR when they play your town.
