The Avett Brothers Open Up On CBS ‘This Morning’

The Avett Brothers sat down with CBS This Morning to discuss the new album, life on the road, and their emotional ride to success.

The band have reached their highest career album debut with True Sadness, and with a tour that includes multiple dates at Red Rocks, they are showing no intentions of slowing down.

The Avett Brothers’ told CBS’ Anthony Mason that they credit their success to hard work and a bond between the band and audience. The guys opened up to CBS about family, illness, divorce, and everything in between, giving fans a glimpse into the offstage lives of The Avett Brothers.

Following the interview, The Avett Brothers took to the stage to perform “Ain’t No Man” off their new album True Sadness. 

Since the release, the album has hit #1 on Billboard Albums Chart, #1 Digital Albums Chart, #1 Rock Albums Chart and #3 ON Billboard Top 200. The single “Ain’t No Man” has also continued to hold the #1 slot on AAA radio for the third week in a row.
