Upon its release last week, KID CUDI‘s Indicud blasted off to the top of Billboard‘s Rap Albums Chart, debuting at #1. Meanwhile, the third full-length album from the Grammy Award-winning artist, songwriter, producer and actor landed at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 with over 135K albums sold. As his highest entry on the chart to date, it’s a true milestone for him.

Indicud continues to stir up palpable fervor amongst his incredibly passionate fan base. Released a week early due to overwhelming demand from the audience, the album immediately reached #1 on both the iTunes Overall Albums Chart and Hip-Hop Albums Chart, solidifying its power.

Produced entirely by CUDI, Indicud remains his vision, and it taps into his intense and innovative creativity like never before. Tracks like “King Wizard” and “Just What I Am” have enjoyed a powerful response with 4.9 million YouTube/VEVO views and 7.4 million YouTube/VEVO views respectively.

In addition to the embrace of fans, critics continue to extoll the collection. Billboard writes, “there’s a lot of range on display”, XXL claims, “Indicud is an album that really does get better with time,” while ARTISTdirect.com calls it, “The hip-hop event of the year and CUDI‘s best work yet”.

Indicud is here, and KID CUDI remains hip-hop’s ultimate wizard.
