Colbie Caillat Returns to Dallas Monday Night

Universal recording artist Colbie Caillat returns to North Texas Monday, this time performing at Dallas’ House of Blues.
Caillat’s last appearance in the Metroplex was in the summer of 2007 when she opened for the Goo Goo Dolls at Superpages.com Center at Fair Park. She is now headlining her own show and is supported by singer/songwriter Jon McLaughlin.

Since last summer Caillat has been busy doing the normal musician things — constant touring and recording — during which she contributed a song to the Beijing Olympics album, a track called “Somethin’ Special.”

Caillat also re-recorded and re-released her debut album “Coco,” to include eight new tracks.

Still touring on the success of her debut album, fans can expect to hear many of the hits that have made Caillat a breakthrough artist — songs such as “Bubbly,” “Realize” and “Little Things.”

Doors at the House of Blues open at 7 p.m. with the show scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. As of this writing, tickets are still available for Monday’s show.
