Blue October “Hate Me” #1 Most Added Song

Rockers Have # 1 Most Added Song At Format

New York, NY â€“ Republic/Universal Records recording artists, Blue October, have the # 1 Most Added Song at Alternative Radio with the single, â€œHate Meâ€ this week. The track is the first song off their third full-length studio album being released on March 14th entitled, Foiled. Hailing from the great state of Texas, Blue October has been meticulously expanding their fan base from their home state to the rest of the country. Nothing proves this more than the eclectic mix of stations that added â€œHate Meâ€ this week.  From WLUM in Milwaukee, WI to WSUN- TAMPA where it is # 1 requested to WSUN in Tampa, FL where the station said, â€œThis song is so huge.  TOP 5 PHONES!  It’s been in our Top 5 @ 9 for weeks!â€ Other stations that added â€œHate Meâ€ such as WKRL in Syracuse, KTCL in Denver and KWOD in Sacramento prove without a doubt that this band is not a regional story now but a national success.

Their new Repbulic/Universal Records album, Foiled, is their first studio effort since 2003â€™s History for Sale, which was initially released independently by the band. When their song â€œCalling You,â€ which was also included on the American Wedding Soundtrack, began picking up airplay in Dallas and other markets, Blue October signed to Universal. A double-live CD/DVD, Argue With A Tree, which captured the amazingly symbiotic live relationship between the band and its fans, came out last February, 2005.

Despite the fact Blue October hadnâ€™t released a new album in two years, a fall â€™05 tour was booked, resulting in sold-out shows in Houston, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Tulsa, Little Rock, Omaha, Chicago, Lawrence/Kansas City and Des Moines, proving the bandâ€™s audience was still strong, which can be seen in the CD/DVD release Argue With A Tree.

The band will be celebrating their new release in their home state with shows Dallas, Houston as well as Austin, TX at the South By Southwest Festival. Look for the band to storm the rock clubs of America bringing their new songs and signature sound to fans everywhere.
