10 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Sleep On RDGLDGRN’s Debut AlbumSeptember 11, 2013
Most bands struggle for years before they catch their big break. They experiment with different sounds, record dozens and dozens of songs together, and, if they’re lucky, finally stumble upon a formula that works for them. But that wasn’t the case with RDGLDGRN, a band consisting of guitarist Red, bassist Gold, and keyboardist/frontman Green that formed just two years ago in Reston, Va. It only took them a couple of years to get their act together and land a major label deal—and it’s not hard to hear why. Their self-titled debut album is excellent and features a bunch of songs that are destined to be hits.
Don’t just take our word for it, though. Instead, go and listen to their debut for yourself on iTunes. We can pretty much guarantee that you’ll be hooked within the first 30 seconds (the guys made the right decision by making their hit, “I Love Lamp,” the first track on the album). And while you’re listening to it, check out the 10 other reasons you shouldn’t sleep on RDGLDGRN and their self-titled debut below. Get with the program now before this band blows up even more than they already have.
